The new kit Canyon-SRAM will wear at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift

Canyon-SRAM have unveiled a new special kit and bike design for the upcoming Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, inspired by the colours and motifs of Zwift, key partners of both the race and the team.

Designed for the Women’s WorldTour team to wear at the Tour de France Femmes, the new limited edition jersey is orange and pink, with dashes of other colours and an ‘Allez Allez Allez’ slogan on the back.

The team will also ride two specially designed Canyon race bikes - an Aeroad and an Ultimate CFR - which also feature the orange, pink and yellow colourway.

“From the beginning of Canyon-SRAM Racing, one of our main imperatives has been to increase the visibility of women’s cycling worldwide,” said team manager Ronny Lauke. “Together with our main partners Canyon, SRAM, Zwift as well as Elite and Giro, we want to celebrate the 2023 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift with a standout special edition artwork designed by Canyon that we’ll use on our clothing, helmets, bottles, and bikes at this year’s race.”

This jersey is the latest of a series of striking designs for Canyon-SRAM, who have become known for their creative kits, designed by Rapha and Canyon in recent years.

Details of the design are a nod to previous iterations of the Canyon kit, which in 2022 and 2023 has featured the ‘Astral Burn’ design, a pink and colourful jersey peppered with details and motifs of weather forecasts and systems.

“As with the Astral Burn design, I used satellite imagery of weather systems as a base and then layered meteorological data and wind patterns to give the print depth and chaos,” explained Canyon’s global creative director, Ultan Coyle. “In the latest iteration, we're adding in bold pink and orange tones as a nod to the colours of team partner Zwift.”

The kit will be produced by Basque sportswear brand Exteondo, who will also manufacture a skinsuit in the same design. The collection released by Canyon will also feature a race cap and a t-shirt in the same design.

The collection is available to purchase from Friday 21 July, on Canyon’s website.
